Terms
Prices on this site are starting points, not offers. Every project is quoted in writing with a fixed price and a launch date, and that written quote governs. What you are buying is a finished site that we host and run for you: we keep the build, you get no copy and no hosting login, and we take no commission on anything you sell.
Version in force: 31 October 2026.
Who you are contracting with
Altaris is a trading name of InnovX L.L.C., company number 812114164, registered in the Republic of Kosovo. That company is the party to your contract. We do not publish a postal address; notices under these terms are given by email, tohello@altarisdev.com for us and to the address on your quote for you.
Our team is in Kosovo and our clients are in the United States. We do not have a US office and do not claim one.
Prices on this site
The figures on the pricing page are indicative starting points for typical projects. They are not an offer and not a quote. What binds either party is the written quote issued after a call, which states a fixed price, what is included and a launch date.
How a project is agreed
We send a written quote. You accept it by replying in writing or by making the first payment under it, and the quote plus these terms are then the whole agreement between us. Until one of those happens there is no contract, however far a conversation has gone.
Payment, and what the price does not cover
A project is paid once, in US dollars, against the fixed price in your quote. The quote states when each payment falls due. There is no monthly fee for the site to stay up and no commission on anything you sell through it.
Four things sit outside that price, and we would rather list them than let you find them. The domain is yours and is about $11 a year - we can register one for you or use one you already have. Hosted mailboxes on the domain are a separate cost. Card processing on online orders is charged by your processor at their standard rates, because the money settles into your account and not ours. And work larger than a content change is quoted separately.
Scope, and how changes work
The written quote defines the scope. Anything outside it - another page, a feature we did not discuss, a redesign of something already signed off - is a change, and a change means a short written variation with a revised price and a revised date before we start it. We would rather quote the extra work than let a fixed price quietly stop covering what is being built.
We need content, photography, access to your domain and any existing site, and timely feedback from you. Where a delay in those pushes a launch date, we will say so at the time and agree a new one rather than absorbing it silently.
Small changes after launch, and what is quoted work
Small content changes are free: new opening hours, a price, a few lines of text, swapping a photo. You email us and we do it. There is no dashboard and no login, so you are not editing the site yourself - that is a real limit of how we work and it is deliberate.
New pages, new features, design changes and anything that needs building rather than editing are quoted work, on the same basis as the original project. If you want us on call with agreed response times, that is a care plan and we quote it separately. Declining it takes nothing away from you.
What you are buying
You are buying a finished site, published and run by us on your behalf. You are not assigned the copyright in the code, the templates or the design system behind it, and we do not supply a copy of the build for you to host elsewhere. What you get is the right to have your site published and run by us for as long as the arrangement runs.
We say that plainly because it is unusual and because it is the thing most likely to matter to you later. You are buying an operated service, not an asset you can take somewhere else, and moving to another developer means a rebuild rather than a transfer. If being able to move the build matters to you, say so before you accept a quote - it is not what this arrangement is.
Third-party and open-source components used in a build stay under their own licences.
Content you supply
Your text, images, menu, prices and logo remain yours. You give us permission to host, reproduce, resize and adapt them for the purpose of building and running your site, which is what makes it lawful for us to publish them at all.
You confirm you hold the rights to everything you send us, and that includes photographs taken by someone else, fonts, and logos drawn by a previous designer. If a third party brings a claim against us over content you supplied, you cover us for it. We are the ones hosting it, so we are the ones the claim arrives at.
Hosting
We host the site at no extra charge, in our own hosting account rather than one you administer. You do not get a hosting login, you cannot edit the site yourself, and we do not name our hosting provider publicly. Where a site takes orders or bookings, the money settles into your own payment account and never passes through ours, so we take no commission on it.
We do not publish an uptime figure, a page-speed figure or a backup promise, because we would rather commit to nothing than to a number we cannot reproduce. If something is down, email us and we will fix it. Keep your own copy of the content you send us.
Acceptable use
The site must not carry illegal or infringing content, or content used to harm or deceive people. If it does, or if the site is compromised, we may take specific content down or take the site offline while it is sorted out. We will tell you when we do and why. We are the party with the hosting contract, so we have to be able to act.
Data collected on your site
Where we build ordering or booking into a site, your customers' details - names, contact details, order and reservation details - are yours and are collected for your business. We hold them because we run the hosting. We do not use them for anything of our own, and we do not sell or share them.
Our own privacy policy at /privacy/ covers this site, altarisdev.com, and not the sites we build for clients. Those are a different arrangement.
Ending the arrangement
You can stop at any time. There is nothing to cancel and no notice to give, because you were never on a plan. You get back the content you supplied. You do not get the build, the code or hosting access, because those were never part of what was sold - see what you are buying, above.
We cannot promise to host a site forever. A business that says otherwise is making a promise it cannot keep if it stops trading. If we ever need to stop hosting a site, we will give notice and will not simply switch it off.
What we promise, and what we do not
We promise the site will substantially match what your written quote describes. If something is broken or missing against that quote, tell us and we will fix it at no charge.
Beyond that we do not promise the site will be available without interruption, that it will bring in a particular number of customers or a particular amount of revenue, that it will rank anywhere in search, or that services we do not control will keep working. Nobody can promise those honestly and we are not going to.
Liability
Our total liability to you for anything arising out of a project is limited to the total fees you paid us for that project.
Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or lost data, however it arises.
None of the limits in these terms applies to fraud, to a deliberately false statement, or to intentional, willful or grossly negligent conduct. Those cannot be contracted away and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Indemnity
You cover us against claims arising from content you supplied and from your own use of the site. We do not ask you to cover us for anything we get wrong ourselves.
Accuracy of claims on this site
Where a load time is quoted in a case study it is measured time-to-full-HTML-response for the live site, with the date of measurement stated. It is not a Lighthouse score and not a promise of performance for your project. No load times are published at the time of writing. Client names are shown as examples of delivered work; where a client has not agreed to act as a named reference, no endorsement is implied.
We may show work we have delivered for you as an example, including your business name, on this site and in a proposal. Tell us if you would rather we did not and we will take it down.
Governing law, and where a dispute would be heard
These terms and your quote are governed by the law of the Republic of Kosovo, and a dispute would be heard by a court in Kosovo.
That is worth reading twice if you are a US business, because it is a real concession and we would rather you noticed it now than later. It means no US court and no US jury, proceedings in Kosovo in the local language with translation, and travel and local counsel costs that would usually exceed the value of a project of this size. There is no small-claims route. If that is a problem, raise it before you accept a quote rather than after.
If something goes wrong
Email us first. We will reply, and if email is not getting anywhere we will get on a call. On a project of this size that is the only dispute process that makes economic sense for either of us, and it costs nothing to try.
General
We may use subcontractors and stay responsible for their work. You may not transfer your agreement with us to someone else without our agreement in writing - if you sell the business, tell us and we will sort it out. We each keep the other's confidential information confidential. Neither of us is liable for a failure caused by something genuinely outside our control. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. The sections on what you are buying, liability, indemnity and governing law survive the arrangement ending.

Questions about these terms go to hello@altarisdev.com. InnovX L.L.C. reserves the right to update this page; the version in force is the one dated at the top, and your written quote should name the version it was issued under.
